FIT’s inaugural 70th Anniversary celebration event was held in the beautiful H10-Marina hotel, after the first day of the annual council meeting. The Gala Anniversary evening began with a celebratory toast, followed by speeches from FIT Honorary Advisors, Liese Katschinka, Andrew Evans, Reina de Betttendorf and Henry Liu, sharing their recollections of FIT’s recent past.
On April 19 &20, 2023, FIT Council came together in Barcelona, to hold the mandate’s first Council Meeting organised and hosted by the Associació Professional de Traductors i Intèrprets de Catalunya (APTIC, the Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia), joined by 4 Honorary Advisors and various observers.
